The Spring Musical audition process is intended for serious performers who plan to pursue theatre at a collegiate and/or professional level. Cast members will strengthen their abilities to create a character, analyze text and beats within a script, and harness their power to affect and be affected by language, both spoken and physical. Expectations during this rehearsal process are extremely high, providing an excellent opportunity for performers to experience the rigorous yet rewarding demands of an elite production while maintaining the comfort and approachability of a youth theatre company. The Spring Musical audition process is open to performers of all ages, although those who audition are not guaranteed a role.
It’s 1985 - and it’s your wedding day. The hair is big, the speakers are pumping, and the wedding singer might as well be a rockstar. Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer, the life of every party … until his fiancé leaves him at the altar, and a now heartbroken Robbie can’t help but make every wedding reception as disastrous and depressing as his own. Julia, a cater-waitress, manages to reignite some of his spark, but as luck would have it, she’s engaged to be married to a wolf of Wall Street. Unless he can pull off the love story of the decade, the girl of Robbie’s dreams will be gone forever.
